We scan building envelopes using robots in order to provide the most detail, coverage and accuracy to our clients.

PRE-AUDIT

Scanning the exterior of the building near the end of the construction phase for any deficiencies allowing developers to have contractors come back and fix any areas where issues are present.

Using SAM, our crew collects imaging data of the building exterior. All the images are tagged with location data used later for finding and reporting issues.

REVIEW

The images are then uploaded to our viewing platform app, which allows for the user to quickly and easily review the images collected, where they can easily note all the issues visible on the exterior of the building.

ASSIGN

During the review process, the user can also tag the issues with the appropriate contractor and later have a quick report generated for that contractor with all the deficiencies that need to be rectified.

MAP

Once the images are reviewed and commented on by the user, a 3D map of the building is compiled which highlights all the issues that were assigned by the reviewer. These can be sorted using the type of issue or by contract to easily share the information and view any patterns that may have developed.

Existing buildings, like humans, are getting older and require proactive maintenance to remain healthy. Owners and managers face many decisions regarding their older buildings, should they replace the caulking and the windows or review the condition of their bricks and conduct repairs? Conducting a detailed inspection using FTD Highrise Inspection Inc. ensures that the scale of the problem affecting building performance is quantified correctly.

A key part of an efficient condominium is a good reserve fund. The goal of doing a reserve fund study is to forecast future major repairs or replacement of common elements of the building. Thereby lowering the risk of unexpected repairs and ensure that proper funds will be available for those repairs when the time comes.

Eventually all buildings need major restoration work, whether it is re-caulking or replacing windows. A warranty usually lasts for a short period of time relative to the useful life of the product. Having a scan done after work is completed but before the warranty period expires is a small investment to ensure quality workmanship. If issues are found with the work, they can be pointed out to the contractor and quickly fixed under the warranty.
